⁵² They replied, ^(A)“Are you from Galilee too? Search and see that ^(B)no prophet arises from Galilee.”

⁴¹ Others said, “This is ^(A)the Christ.” But some said, ^(B)“Is the Christ to come from Galilee?

⁴⁶ Nathanael said to him, ^(A)“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”

For to Us a Child Is Born

9 ^[a] But there will be no ^(A)gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time he ^(B)brought into contempt the land of ^(C)Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he ^(D)has made glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.^[b]

³⁴ They answered him, ^(A)“You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?” And they ^(B)cast him out.

²⁴ Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near ^(A)and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, “How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?”

⁹ But they said, “Stand back!” And they said, “This fellow ^(A)came to sojourn, and ^(B)he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.” Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down.
