John 7:45-8:1

45 [a]Then came the officers to the high Priests and Pharisees, and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
46 The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.
47 Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
48 [b]Doth any of the rulers, or of the Pharisees believe in him?
49 But this people, which know not the Law, are cursed,
50 Nicodemus said unto them, ((A)he that came to Jesus by night, and was one of them.)
51 Doth our Law judge a man before it hear him, (B)and know [c]what he hath done?
52 They answered, and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no Prophet.
53 [d]And every man went unto his own house.
8 3 The woman taken in adultery, 11 hath her sins forgiven her. 12 Christ the light of the world. 19 The Pharisees ask where his Father is. 39 The sons of Abraham. 42 The sons of God, 44 The devil the father of lying. 56 Abraham saw Christ’s day.
