³⁰ Therefore ^(A)they sought to take Him; but ^(B)no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

³² The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him.

⁵⁷ Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, that they might ^(A)seize Him.

⁹ Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? ^(A)If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the ^(B)light of this world. ¹⁰ But ^(C)if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

^4 (A)I^[a] must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is ^(B)day; the night is coming when no one can work.

⁵⁹ Then ^(A)they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, ^(B)going^[a] through the midst of them, and so passed by.
