^16 [a]Jesus answered them and said, ^(A)“My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

²⁴ He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and ^(A)the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(A)I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you ^(B)I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

⁸ For I have given to them the words ^(A)which You have given Me; and they have received them, ^(B)and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that ^(C)You sent Me.

^30 (A)I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because ^(B)I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

¹⁴ I have given them Your word; ^(A)and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, ^(B)just as I am not of the world.

⁴⁹ For ^(A)I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, ^(B)what I should say and what I should speak. ⁵⁰ And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I ^(C)speak.”

²⁸ Then Jesus said to them, “When you ^(A)lift^[a] up the Son of Man, ^(B)then you will know that I am He, and ^(C)that I do nothing of Myself; but ^(D)as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.

³⁸ For I have come down from heaven, ^(A)not to do My own will, ^(B)but the will of Him who sent Me. ³⁹ This is the will of the Father who sent Me, ^(C)that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. ⁴⁰ And this is the will of Him who sent Me, ^(D)that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”
