¹⁴ Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and ^(A)taught.

²⁸ Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, ^(A)“You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and ^(B)I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me ^(C)is true, ^(D)whom you do not know.

⁴⁷ And He ^(A)was teaching daily in the temple. But ^(B)the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people sought to destroy Him,

²⁰ Jesus answered him, ^(A)“I spoke openly to the world. I always taught ^(B)in synagogues and ^(C)in the temple, where ^[a]the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

² Now ^[a]early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and ^(A)taught them.

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

^37 (A)On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, ^(B)“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

^2 (A)Now the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles was at hand.

¹⁴ Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. ^(A)Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”

⁵⁵ In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple^(A)

^12 (B)Then Jesus went into the temple ^[a]of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the ^(C)money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
