²⁴ So when the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum looking for Jesus.^(A)

¹⁷ got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.

³⁷ When they found him, they said to him, “Everyone is searching for you.”

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir,^[a] if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.”^(A)

⁴ Then Jesus, knowing all that was to happen to him, came forward and asked them, “Whom are you looking for?”^{(A) 5} They answered, “Jesus of Nazareth.”^[a] Jesus replied, “I am he.”^[b] Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

¹¹ The Jews were looking for him at the festival and saying, “Where is he?”

⁵⁹ He said these things while he was teaching in a synagogue at Capernaum.

²³ But some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.^(A)

⁴⁰ Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.
