¹¹ Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks he distributed them to those who were seated; so also the fish, as much as they wanted.^(A)

²³ But some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.^(A)

⁶ Those who observe the day, observe it for the Lord. Also those who eat, eat for the Lord, since they give thanks to God, while those who abstain, abstain for the Lord and give thanks to God.^(A)

³⁶ he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.^(A)

¹⁸ give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

³⁰ When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.^(A)

⁴ For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, provided it is received with thanksgiving,^{(A) 5} for it is sanctified by God’s word and by prayer.

³¹ So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.^(A)

³⁵ After he had said this, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all, he broke it and began to eat.^(A)

¹³ As soon as you enter the town, you will meet him before he goes up to the shrine to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, since he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those eat who are invited. Now go up, for you will meet him immediately.”
