¹¹ And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them ^[a]to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.

²³ however, other boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks—

⁶ He who ^(A)observes the day, observes it to the Lord; ^[a]and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for ^(B)he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

³⁶ And ^(A)He took the seven loaves and the fish and ^(B)gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude.

¹⁸ in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

³⁰ Now it came to pass, as ^(A)He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

⁴ For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; ⁵ for it is ^[a]sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

^31 (A)Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

³⁵ And when he had said these things, he took bread and ^(A)gave thanks to God in the presence of them all; and when he had broken it he began to eat.

¹³ As soon as you come into the city, you will surely find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, because he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now therefore, go up, for about this time you will find him.”
