¹¹ Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks,^(A) and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

²³ Then some boats from Tiberias^(A) landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.^(B)

⁶ Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God;^(A) and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

³⁶ Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them^(A) and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people.

¹⁸ give thanks in all circumstances;^(A) for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

³⁰ When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it^(A) and began to give it to them.

⁴ For everything God created is good,^(A) and nothing is to be rejected^(B) if it is received with thanksgiving, ⁵ because it is consecrated by the word of God^(C) and prayer.

³¹ So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.^(A)

³⁵ After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all. Then he broke it^(A) and began to eat.

¹³ As soon as you enter the town, you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people will not begin eating until he comes, because he must bless^(A) the sacrifice; afterward, those who are invited will eat. Go up now; you should find him about this time.”
