³⁷ And the Father himself who sent me has given ·proof [testimony; witness] ·about me [concerning me; on my behalf]. You have never heard his voice or seen ·what he looks like [his form; his outward appearance]. ³⁸ His ·teaching [word; message] does not ·live [remain; abide] in you, because you don’t believe in the One the Father sent.
