^9 (A)And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

^(B)Now that day was the Sabbath.

⁷ And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong. ⁸ And ^(A)leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

^14 (A)Now it was a Sabbath day when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

A Woman with a Disabling Spirit

¹⁰ Now ^(A)he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. ¹¹ And behold, there was a woman who had had ^(B)a disabling spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. ¹² When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” ¹³ And he ^(C)laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she ^(D)glorified God. ¹⁴ But ^(E)the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus ^(F)had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, ^(G)“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” ¹⁵ Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! ^(H)Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? ¹⁶ And ought not this woman, ^(I)a daughter of Abraham whom ^(J)Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

² And ^(A)they watched Jesus,^[a] to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. ³ And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.” ⁴ And he said to them, ^(B)“Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent.

⁵² And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; ^(A)your faith has ^(B)made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.

^41 (A)Taking her by the hand he said to her, “Talitha cumi,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, ^(B)arise.” ⁴² And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement.

^29 (A)And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her ^(B)disease.

⁴² And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.
