⁴⁴ How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God^[a]?^(A)

⁴⁵ “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses,^(B) on whom your hopes are set.^{(C) 46} If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.^{(D) 47} But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”^(E)

²⁷ And beginning with Moses^(A) and all the Prophets,^(B) he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.^(C)

⁴⁵ Philip found Nathanael^(A) and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law,^(B) and about whom the prophets also wrote^(C)—Jesus of Nazareth,^(D) the son of Joseph.”^(E)
