⁴³ I have come ^(A)in my Father's name, and ^(B)you do not receive me. ^(C)If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

²⁵ Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. ^(A)The works that I do ^(B)in my Father's name bear witness about me,

⁴ I ^(A)glorified you on earth, ^(B)having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. ⁵ And now, Father, ^(C)glorify me in your own presence with the glory ^(D)that I had with you ^(E)before the world existed.

^6 (F)“I have manifested your name to the people ^(G)whom you gave me out of the world. ^(H)Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

²⁸ So Jesus said to them, “When you have ^(A)lifted up the Son of Man, ^(B)then you will know that ^(C)I am he, and that ^(D)I do nothing on my own authority, but ^(E)speak just as the Father taught me. ²⁹ And ^(F)he who sent me is with me. ^(G)He has not left me alone, for ^(H)I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”

³⁸ For ^(A)I have come down from heaven, not to do ^(B)my own will but ^(C)the will of him ^(D)who sent me.

⁵ For ^(A)many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am ^(B)the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

⁴ And ^(A)no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, ^(B)just as Aaron was.

⁵ So also Christ ^(C)did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him,

³⁶ For ^(A)before these days Theudas rose up, ^(B)claiming to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. ³⁷ After him Judas the Galilean rose up in the days of ^(C)the census and drew away some of the people after him. He too perished, and all who followed him were scattered.

²⁸ Father, glorify your name.” Then ^(A)a voice came from heaven: “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”
