John 5:25-27

²⁵ ‘Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here,^(A) when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.^{(B) 26} For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son^(C) to have life in himself. ²⁷ And he has granted him the right to pass judgement,^(D) because he is the Son of Man.^(E)
