²² For the Father does not judge anyone, but he has given all judgment to the Son,

⁴² And he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify solemnly that this one is the one appointed^[a] by God as judge of the living and of the dead.

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, in order that each one may receive back the things through the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Paul’s Charge to Timothy

4 I solemnly charge you before God and Christ Jesus, who is going to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom,

⁵ They^[a] will give an account to the one who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
