¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, ^(A)“My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

¹⁰ Do you not believe that ^(A)I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you ^(B)I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

^4 (A)I^[a] must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is ^(B)day; the night is coming when no one can work.

¹⁶ For ^(A)by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ^(B)dominions or ^[a]principalities or ^[b]powers. All things were created ^(C)through Him and for Him.

⁶ And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God ^(A)who works ^[a]all in all.

^3 (A)who being the brightness of His glory and the express ^(B)image of His person, and ^(C)upholding all things by the word of His power, ^(D)when He had ^[a]by Himself ^[b]purged ^[c]our sins, ^(E)sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

2 Thus the heavens and the earth, and ^(A)all the host of them, were finished. ^2 (B)And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

²⁸ for ^(A)in Him we live and move and have our being, ^(B)as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’

^17 (A)Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, ^(B)gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with ^(C)food and gladness.”
