⁵⁰ Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.”^[a] The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started on his way.

¹³ And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; let it be done for you according to your faith.” And the servant^[a] was healed in that hour.

¹⁴ When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were made clean.^(A)

²⁹ Then he said to her, “For saying that, you may go—the demon has left your daughter.” ³⁰ And when she went home, she found the child lying on the bed and the demon gone.

²⁰ No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, ²¹ being fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.^(A)

¹⁹ He considered the fact that God is able even to raise someone from the dead—and, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.^(A)

⁹ He listened to Paul as he was speaking. And Paul, looking at him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed,^{(A) 10} said in a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet.” And the man^[a] sprang up and began to walk.

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”^(A)

²³ Jesus said to him, “If you are able! All things can be done for the one who believes.” ²⁴ Immediately the father of the child cried out,^[a] “I believe; help my unbelief!”

¹³ Elijah said to her, “Do not be afraid; go and do as you have said, but first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son. ¹⁴ For thus says the Lord the God of Israel: The jar of meal will not be emptied and the jug of oil will not fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth.”^{(A) 15} She went and did as Elijah said, so that she as well as he and her household ate for many days.
