⁵⁰ “Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”

The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

¹³ Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”^(A) And his servant was healed at that moment.

¹⁴ When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”^(A) And as they went, they were cleansed.

²⁹ Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”

³⁰ She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

²⁰ Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened^(A) in his faith and gave glory to God,^{(B) 21} being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.^(C)

¹⁹ Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead,^(A) and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

⁹ He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed^{(A) 10} and called out, “Stand up on your feet!”^(B) At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.^(C)

⁴⁰ Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe,^(A) you will see the glory of God?”^(B)

²³ “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”^(A)

²⁴ Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”

¹³ Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. ¹⁴ For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain^(A) on the land.’”

¹⁵ She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family.
