⁴⁷ When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

³ He left Judea and departed again to Galilee.

³⁸ And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

³² Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she ^(A)fell down at His feet, saying to Him, ^(B)“Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

²¹ Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.

⁵⁴ This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee.

^41 (A)And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue. And he fell down at Jesus’ feet and begged Him to come to his house,

⁶ Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. ⁷ Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But ^(A)say the word, and my servant will be healed. ⁸ For I also am a man placed under ^(B)authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

⁴⁷ And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, ^(A)Son of David, ^(B)have mercy on me!”

⁵⁵ ran through that whole surrounding region, and began to carry about on beds those who were sick to wherever they heard He was. ⁵⁶ Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that ^(A)they might just touch the ^(B)hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
