²⁸ So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people,

⁷ A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, ^(A)“Give me a drink.”

³³ And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they ^(A)found the eleven and ^(B)those who were with them gathered together,

⁹ and returning from the tomb they ^(A)told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.

⁸ And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene

⁸ So they departed quickly from the tomb ^(A)with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
