Men and Women in the Church

⁸ I desire therefore that the men pray ^(A)everywhere, ^(B)lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;

¹⁸ For ^(A)through Him we both have access ^(B)by one Spirit to the Father.

²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will ^(A)worship the Father in ^(B)spirit ^(C)and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

²⁰ For where two or three are gathered ^(A)together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Appreciation of the Mystery

¹⁴ For this reason I bow my knees to the ^(A)Father ^[a]of our Lord Jesus Christ,

^32 (A)Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, ^(B)each to his ^[a]own, and will leave Me alone. And ^(C)yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

^2 (A)They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming ^(B)that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
