¹³ Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; ¹⁴ but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him ^(A)shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to ^(B)eternal life.”

³⁵ Jesus said to them, “^(A)I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me ^(B)will never be thirsty.

³⁷ Now on ^(A)the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “^(B)If anyone is thirsty, ^[a]let him come to Me and drink. ³⁸ The one who believes in Me, ^(C)as the Scripture said, ‘^[b]From his innermost being will flow rivers of ^(D)living water.’”
