^36 (A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

⁹ Since, therefore, ^(A)we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from ^(B)the wrath of God.

^9 (A)If we confess our sins, he is ^(B)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and ^(C)to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
