^18 (A)Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not ^(B)believed in the name of the only Son of God.

¹⁰ Whoever believes in the Son of God ^(A)has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God ^(B)has made him a liar, ^(C)because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

^16 (A)Whoever believes and is ^(B)baptized ^(C)will be saved, but ^(D)whoever ^(E)does not believe will be condemned.

Life in the Spirit

8 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.^[a]

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever hears my word and ^(B)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(C)does not come into judgment, but ^(D)has passed from death to life.

^12 (A)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Peace with God Through Faith

5 ^(A)Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, ^(B)we^[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

^34 (A)Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—^(B)who is at the right hand of God, ^(C)who indeed is interceding for us.^[a]

⁹ In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that ^(A)God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
