and the face-cloth which was on His head— not lying with the linen-cloths, but apart-from them, having been wrapped-up[a] in one place.   2. John 20:8 That is, believed Jesus returned to the Father, as He had said in 13:33; 14:3; 16:28. But he did not yet understand that Jesus would walk with them again.

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
