¹⁸ Mary Magdalene ^(A)went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.

¹⁰ Now it was ^(A)Mary Magdalene and ^(B)Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles,

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; ^(A)go and tell ^(B)my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”

The Resurrection

20 ^(A)Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that ^(B)the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

²² Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. ^(A)They were at the tomb early in the morning, ²³ and ^(B)when they did not find his body, they came back saying that ^(C)they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

^10 (A)She went and told those who had been with him, ^(B)as they ^(C)mourned and wept. ¹¹ But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they ^(D)would not believe it.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples

^12 (E)After these things ^(F)he appeared in ^(G)another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. ^13 (H)And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.
