⁴ But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples ^(A)did not know that it was Jesus.

¹⁶ But ^(A)their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him.

Mary Magdalene Sees the Risen Lord^(A)

^9 [a]Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, ^(B)out of whom He had cast seven demons.

The Women Worship the Risen Lord

⁹ And ^[a]as they went to tell His disciples, behold, ^(A)Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.

⁵⁹ Then ^(A)they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, ^(B)going^[a] through the midst of them, and so passed by.

³¹ Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight.

Jesus Appears to Two Disciples^(A)

¹² After that, He appeared in another form ^(B)to two of them as they walked and went into the country.

³⁰ Then ^(A)passing through the midst of them, He went His way.
