¹⁹ Jesus answered them, ^(A)“Destroy this temple, and in three days ^(B)I will raise it up.”

^58 (A)“We heard him say, ^(B)‘I will destroy this temple ^(C)that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, ^(D)not made with hands.’”

²⁹ And ^(A)those who passed by derided him, ^(B)wagging their heads and saying, ^(C)“Aha! ^(D)You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

⁴⁰ and saying, ^(A)“You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! ^(B)If you are ^(C)the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

⁶⁰ but they found none, ^(A)though many false witnesses came forward. At last ^(B)two came forward ⁶¹ and said, “This man said, ^(C)‘I am able to ^(D)destroy the temple of God, and to rebuild it in three days.’”

⁴⁰ For ^(A)just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, ^(B)so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

¹¹ If the Spirit of ^(A)him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus^[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^(B)through his Spirit who dwells in you.

¹⁵ and you killed ^(A)the Author of life, ^(B)whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.

³² This Jesus ^(A)God raised up, ^(B)and of that we all are witnesses.
