^18 (A)The Jews then said to Him, “^(B)What sign do You show us ^[a]as your authority for doing these things?” ¹⁹ Jesus answered them, “^(C)Destroy this ^[b]temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” ^20 (D)The Jews then said, “It took ^(E)forty-six years to build this ^[c]temple, and yet You will raise it up in three days?” ²¹ But He was speaking about ^(F)the ^[d]temple of His body.

^16 (A)Do you not know that ^(B)you are a ^[a]temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that ^(B)your body is a ^[a]temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from ^[b]God, and that ^(C)you are not your own?
