John 19:28-30

28 After this, Jesus, (A)knowing that all things had already been accomplished, (B)in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, *said, “(C)I am thirsty.” 29 A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so (D)they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a branch of hyssop and brought it up to His mouth. 30 Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “(E)It is finished!” And He bowed His head and (F)gave up His spirit.

28 After this Jesus, knowing that all things are now finished, [a]that the scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst. 29 There was set there a vessel full of vinegar: so they put a sponge full of the vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.
