³⁰ When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ^(A)“It is finished,” and he bowed his head and ^(B)gave up his spirit.

⁴ I ^(A)glorified you on earth, ^(B)having accomplished the work that you gave me to do.

⁸ And being found in human form, he humbled himself by ^(A)becoming obedient to the point of death, ^(B)even death on a cross.

¹⁴ by ^(A)canceling ^(B)the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. ^15 (C)He disarmed the rulers and authorities^[a] and ^(D)put them to open shame, by ^(E)triumphing over them in him.^[b]

Let No One Disqualify You

¹⁶ Therefore let no one ^(F)pass judgment on you ^(G)in questions of food and drink, or with regard to ^(H)a festival or ^(I)a new moon or a Sabbath. ^17 (J)These are a shadow of the things to come, but ^(K)the substance belongs to Christ.

² looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, ^(A)who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising ^(B)the shame, and ^(C)is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

^11 (A)I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd ^(B)lays down his life for the sheep.

The Seventy Weeks

^24 (A)“Seventy weeks^[a] are decreed about your people and ^(B)your holy city, to finish ^(C)the transgression, to put an end to sin, ^(D)and to atone for iniquity, ^(E)to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and ^(F)to anoint a most holy place.^[b]

Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

¹¹ But when Christ appeared as a high priest ^(A)of the good things that have come,^[a] then through ^(B)the greater and more perfect tent (^(C)not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) ¹² he ^(D)entered ^(E)once for all into the holy places, not by means of ^(F)the blood of goats and calves but ^(G)by means of his own blood, ^(H)thus securing an eternal redemption. ¹³ For if ^(I)the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with ^(J)the ashes of a heifer, sanctify^[b] for the purification of the flesh, ¹⁴ how much more will ^(K)the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit ^(L)offered himself without blemish to God, ^(M)purify our^[c] conscience ^(N)from dead works ^(O)to serve the living God.
