John 19:23-24
American Standard Version
23 The soldiers therefore, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also the [a]coat: now the [b]coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore one to another, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith,
[c]They parted my garments among them,
And upon my vesture did they cast lots.

John 19:23-24
New American Standard Bible 1995
23 Then (A)the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His outer garments and made (B)four parts, a part to every soldier and also the [a]tunic; now the tunic was seamless, woven [b]in one piece. 24 So they said to one another, “(C)Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, to decide whose it shall be”; (D)this was to fulfill the Scripture: “They (E)divided My outer garments among them, and for My clothing they cast [c]lots.”
