11 At that, Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword away! Am I not to drink the cup(A) the Father has given me?”

12 Then the company of soldiers, the commander, and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus and tied him up. 13 First they led him to Annas,(B) since he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas,(C) who was high priest that year.

11 Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup(A) the Father has given me?”
12 Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials(B) arrested Jesus. They bound him 13 and brought him first to Annas, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas,(C) the high priest that year.

12 Then the detachment of troops and the captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him. 13 And (B)they led Him away to (C)Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of (D)Caiaphas who was high priest that year.
