^21 (A)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(B)they also may be in ^(C)us, so that the world ^(D)may believe that you have sent me.

One Body with Many Members

¹² For just as ^(A)the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, ^(B)so it is with Christ.

^11 (A)Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave,^[a] free; but Christ is ^(B)all, and in all.

^12 (C)Put on then, as ^(D)God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, ^(E)compassionate hearts, ^(F)kindness, ^(G)humility, meekness, and patience, ^13 (H)bearing with one another and, ^(I)if one has a complaint against another, ^(J)forgiving each other; ^(K)as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. ¹⁴ And above all these put on ^(L)love, which ^(M)binds everything together in ^(N)perfect harmony.

¹¹ And I am no longer in the world, but ^(A)they are in the world, and ^(B)I am coming to you. ^(C)Holy Father, ^(D)keep them in your name, ^(E)which you have given me, ^(F)that they may be one, ^(G)even as we are one.

²⁷ Only ^(A)let your manner of life be ^(B)worthy^[a] of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you ^(C)that you are standing firm in one spirit, with ^(D)one mind ^(E)striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,

²⁵ that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. ²⁶ If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, ^(A)all rejoice together.

²⁷ Now ^(B)you are the body of Christ and individually ^(C)members of it.

^35 (A)By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

^22 (A)The glory that you have given me ^(B)I have given to them, ^(C)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (D)I in them and you in me, ^(E)that they may become perfectly one, ^(F)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(G)loved them even as ^(H)you loved me.

Christ's Example of Humility

2 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from ^(A)love, any ^(B)participation in the Spirit, any ^(C)affection and sympathy, ^2 (D)complete my joy by being ^(E)of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. ³ Do nothing from ^(F)selfish ambition or ^(G)conceit, but in ^(H)humility count others more significant than yourselves. ⁴ Let each of you ^(I)look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. ^5 (J)Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,^{[a] 6 (K)}who, though he was in ^(L)the form of God, did not count equality with God ^(M)a thing to be grasped,^[b]
