²⁰ “I do not ^(A)ask for these only, but also for those ^(B)who will believe in me through their word, ^21 (C)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(D)they also may be in ^(E)us, so that the world ^(F)may believe that you have sent me. ^22 (G)The glory that you have given me ^(H)I have given to them, ^(I)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (J)I in them and you in me, ^(K)that they may become perfectly one, ^(L)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(M)loved them even as ^(N)you loved me.

^7 (A)In him we have ^(B)redemption ^(C)through his blood, ^(D)the forgiveness of our trespasses, ^(E)according to the riches of his grace, ⁸ which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight ^9 (F)making known^[a] to us the mystery of his will, ^(G)according to his purpose, which he ^(H)set forth in Christ ¹⁰ as a plan for ^(I)the fullness of time, ^(J)to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

⁵ For ^(A)if we have been united with him in ^(B)a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.

²⁴ Let ^(A)what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then ^(B)you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.

¹⁴ The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are ^(A)folly to him, and ^(B)he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. ¹⁵ The ^(C)spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. ^16 (D)“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But ^(E)we have the mind of Christ.
