¹⁰ When Jesus had raised Himself up ^[a]and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers ^[b]of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

¹¹ She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, ^(A)“Neither do I condemn you; go ^[c]and ^(B)sin no more.”

¹² Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ^(C)“I am the light of the world. He who ^(D)follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

⁴⁴ For ^(A)every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. ^45 (B)A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil ^[a]treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out ^(C)of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
