John 15:26-16:4

26 “But (A)when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, (B)he will bear witness about me. 27 And (C)you also will bear witness, (D)because you have been with me (E)from the beginning.
16 “I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away. 2 (F)They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed, (G)the hour is coming when (H)whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. 3 And they will do these things (I)because they have not known the Father, nor me. 4 But (J)I have said these things to you, that when (K)their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you.

26 “But I will send you the Advocate[a]—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. 27 And you must also testify about me because you have been with me from the beginning of my ministry.
16 “I have told you these things so that you won’t abandon your faith. 2 For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God. 3 This is because they have never known the Father or me. 4 Yes, I’m telling you these things now, so that when they happen, you will remember my warning. I didn’t tell you earlier because I was going to be with you for a while longer.
