^4 (A)Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

⁵ “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much ^(B)fruit; for without Me you can do ^(C)nothing. ⁶ If anyone does not abide in Me, ^(D)he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

²¹ “Not everyone who says to Me, ^(B)‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who ^(C)does the will of My Father in heaven. ²² Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we ^(D)not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ ²³ And ^(E)then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; ^(F)depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
