^23 (A)He who hates Me hates My Father also.

^9 (A)Whoever ^[a]transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.

Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; ^(C)we have one Father—God.”

⁴² Jesus said to them, ^(D)“If God were your Father, you would love Me, for ^(E)I proceeded forth and came from God; ^(F)nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

^23 (A)Whoever denies the Son does not have the ^(B)Father either; ^(C)he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
