²³ Whoever hates me hates my Father as well.

⁹ Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ^(A) does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.^(B)

⁴⁰ As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me,^(A) a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.^(B) Abraham did not do such things. ⁴¹ You are doing the works of your own father.”^(C)

²³ No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.^(A)
