²¹ But all these things they will do to you ^(A)on account of My name, ^(B)because they do not know the One who sent Me.

¹⁸ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time ^(A)are not worthy to be compared with the ^(B)glory that is to be revealed to us.

⁵ For just ^(A)as the sufferings of Christ are ^[a]ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

Serve God Willingly

5 ^(A)Therefore, I urge elders among you, as your ^(B)fellow elder and a ^(C)witness of the sufferings of Christ, and one who is also a ^[a](D)fellow partaker of the glory that is to be revealed:

¹⁰ After you have suffered ^(A)for a little while, the ^(B)God of all grace, who ^(C)called you to His ^(D)eternal glory in Christ, will Himself ^(E)perfect, ^(F)confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

¹⁰ Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you will be ^(A)tested, and you will have tribulation ^(B)for ten days. ^[a]Be ^(C)faithful until death, and I will give you ^(D)the crown of life.
