(H)Philip *said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus *said to him, “Have I been with you all so long and have you not come to know Me, Philip? (I)He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that (J)I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? (K)The words that I say to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 Believe Me that (L)I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise (M)believe because of the works themselves.

Jesus said to him, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. If you know me, you would also know my Father.[a] From now on you do know him and have seen him.”

“Lord,” said Philip, “show us the Father, and that is enough for us.”

“Have I been with you so long,” Jesus answered, “and you still do not know me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I am telling you I am not speaking on my own, but the Father who remains in me is doing his works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me. Or else believe[b] because of the works themselves.
