John 14:27-31

27 (A)Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. (B)Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 28 (C)You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and (D)I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because (E)I go to the Father, for (F)the Father is greater than I. 29 And now (G)I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe. 30 I will not speak much more with you, for (H)the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; 31 but so that the world may know that I love the Father, [a]I do exactly as (I)the Father commanded Me. Get up, (J)let us go from here.

Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.(A) 28 You have heard me tell you, ‘I am going away(B) and I am coming to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father,(C) because the Father is greater than I.(D) 29 I have told you now before it happens(E) so that when it does happen you may believe. 30 I will not talk with you much longer, because the ruler of the world(F) is coming. He has no power over me.[a](G) 31 On the contrary, so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do as the Father commanded me.
