²⁶ But the ^(A)Helper, the Holy Spirit ^(B)whom the Father will send in My name, ^(C)He will teach you all things, and ^(D)remind you of all that I said to you.

⁷ But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the ^[a](A)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, ^(B)I will send Him to you. ⁸ And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment: ⁹ regarding sin, ^(C)because they do not believe in Me; ¹⁰ and regarding ^(D)righteousness, because ^(E)I am going to the Father and you no longer are going to see Me; ^11 (F)and regarding judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

¹² “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. ¹³ But when He, ^(G)the Spirit of truth, comes, He will ^(H)guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. ¹⁴ He will ^(I)glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. ^15 (J)All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to you.

^16 (A)Do you not know that ^(B)you are a ^[a]temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

^10 [a](A)For to us God revealed them ^(B)through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the ^(C)depths of God. ¹¹ For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the ^(D)spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.

¹³ In ^[a]Him, ^[b]you also, after listening to ^(A)the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ^[c]believed, you were ^(B)sealed in ^[d]Him with ^(C)the Holy Spirit of the promise,

¹⁷ that the ^(A)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(B)the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of ^(C)wisdom and of ^(D)revelation in the ^[a]knowledge of Him. ¹⁸ I pray that ^(E)the eyes of your heart ^[b]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^(F)hope of His ^(G)calling, what are ^(H)the riches of the glory of ^(I)His inheritance in ^(J)the ^[c]saints, ¹⁹ and what is the ^[d]boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^(K)These are in accordance with the working of the ^(L)strength of His might ²⁰ which He brought about in Christ, when He ^(M)raised Him from the dead and ^(N)seated Him at His right hand in ^(O)the heavenly places,

Our Victory in Christ

²⁶ Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for ^(A)we do not know what to pray for as we should, but ^(B)the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with ^[a]groanings too deep for words; ²⁷ and ^(C)He who searches the hearts knows what ^(D)the mind of the Spirit is, because He ^(E)intercedes for the ^[b]saints according to the will of God.

^10 (A)If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is ^[a]alive because of righteousness. ¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him who ^(B)raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, ^(C)He who raised ^(D)Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^[b]through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Stand Firm

^13 (A)But we should always give thanks to God for you, ^(B)brothers and sisters beloved by the Lord, because ^(C)God has chosen you ^[a]from the beginning ^(D)for salvation ^[b](E)through sanctification ^[c]by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
