^14 (A)If you ask me^[a] anything in my name, I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

^15 (B)“If you love me, you will ^(C)keep my commandments. ¹⁶ And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ^(D)Helper,^[b] to be with you forever, ¹⁷ even ^(E)the Spirit of truth, ^(F)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(G)will be^[c] in you.

¹⁸ “I will not leave you as orphans; ^(H)I will come to you.
