John 14:11-17

¹¹Believe me that ^(A)I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else ^(B)believe on account of the works themselves.

¹²“Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(C)whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I ^(D)am going to the Father. ¹³^(E)Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that ^(F)the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴^(G)If you ask me^[a] anything in my name, I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

¹⁵^(H)“If you love me, you will ^(I)keep my commandments. ¹⁶And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ^(J)Helper,^[b] to be with you forever, ¹⁷even ^(K)the Spirit of truth, ^(L)whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and ^(M)will be^[c] in you.
