³⁴ “I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. ³⁵ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love^(A) one another.”

¹³ bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive.^{(A) 14} Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

²² Since you have purified yourselves by your obedience to the truth,^[a] so that you show sincere brotherly love for each other,^(A) from a pure^[b] heart love one another constantly,^[c](B)

⁸ Above all, maintain constant love^(A) for one another, since love covers a multitude of sins.^[a](B)
