²⁷ Then after he had taken the morsel, ^(A)Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, ^(B)“What you are going to do, do quickly.”

Judas to Betray Jesus

^3 (A)Then ^(B)Satan entered into ^(C)Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve.

¹³ Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. ¹⁴ But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. ¹⁵ Then desire ^(A)when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and ^(B)sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

³ But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^(A)Satan filled your heart to lie ^(B)to the Holy Spirit and ^(C)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

² During supper, when ^(A)the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,

⁴⁵ Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and ^(A)the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this ^(B)evil generation.”

³ This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that ^(A)the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and ^(B)madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

¹⁵ He declared^[a] to Arioch, the king's captain, “Why is the decree of the king ^(A)so urgent?” Then Arioch made the matter known to Daniel.
