²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.”

^16 (A)“The one who hears you hears me, and ^(B)the one who rejects you rejects me, and ^(C)the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

⁴⁸ and said to them, ^(A)“Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and ^(B)whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For ^(C)he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”

^37 (A)“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and ^(B)whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.”

Rewards

^40 (A)“Whoever receives you receives me, and ^(B)whoever receives me receives him who sent me. ^41 (C)The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. ⁴² And ^(D)whoever gives one of ^(E)these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”

⁴⁰ And ^(A)the King will answer them, ^(B)‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these ^(C)my brothers,^[a] you did it to me.’

¹⁴ and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me ^(A)as an angel of God, ^(B)as Christ Jesus.

⁸ Therefore ^(A)whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, ^(B)who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

Jesus Came to Save the World

⁴⁴ And Jesus cried out and said, ^(A)“Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but ^(B)in him who sent me. ⁴⁵ And ^(C)whoever ^(D)sees me sees him who sent me. ^46 (E)I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. ⁴⁷ If anyone ^(F)hears my words and does not keep them, ^(G)I do not judge him; for ^(H)I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. ^48 (I)The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; ^(J)the word that I have spoken will judge him ^(K)on the last day.
