^48 (A)He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—^(B)the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

^16 (A)He who hears you hears Me, ^(B)he who rejects you rejects Me, and ^(C)he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.”

^27 (A)And as it is appointed for men to die once, ^(B)but after this the judgment, ²⁸ so ^(C)Christ was ^(D)offered once to bear the sins ^(E)of many. To those who ^(F)eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

^16 (A)in the day when God will judge the secrets of men ^(B)by Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to my gospel.

⁸ in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴ Martha said to Him, ^(A)“I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

^17 (A)For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

^18 (B)“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, ^(C)that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For ^(D)everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

Hear the Heavenly Voice

²⁵ See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For ^(A)if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven,

^29 (A)Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, ^(B)counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, ^(C)and insulted the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know Him who said, ^(D)“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” ^[a]says the Lord. And again, ^(E)“The Lord will judge His people.” ^31 (F)It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
